How to Print Digital Wall Art at Home
Digital wall art is the fastest, most affordable way to fill a wall: you buy once, download instantly, and print as many copies as you like — at any size — with no shipping or wait. Here's how to get a crisp, gallery-quality result from your files.
1. Download & unzip your files
After purchase, download the ZIP from your Etsy account (Purchases & Reviews → Download Files). Inside you'll find high-resolution JPEGs and PDFs in several print ratios. Pick the ratio that matches the frame you want to fill.
2. Choose where to print
- At home: great for sizes up to A4 / 8×10". Use a decent inkjet and quality matte or semi-gloss photo paper.
- Local print shop: Staples, Office Depot and FedEx Office print up to 24×36" cheaply, often same-day.
- Online: Shutterfly, Mpix or a local pro lab for premium fine-art and poster stock.
3. Use the right paper
For fantasy and illustrative art, a matte or lightly textured fine-art paper looks the most premium and hides glare. Glossy works for vivid, high-contrast pieces. Always ask for the heaviest stock available (200gsm+).
4. Set print options correctly
Print at 100% scale / "actual size" (never "fit to page" if it crops), borderless if your printer supports it, and choose the highest quality setting. Our files are 300 DPI, so they stay sharp all the way up to poster size.
5. Frame it
Standard frame sizes (8×10, 11×14, 16×20, 18×24, 24×36") match our included ratios, so you can grab an off-the-shelf frame. A mat board instantly elevates the look.
